On the road again....

My flight back to St Louis leaves Monday morning at 0600.  I land at 1600 and have to drive Mama directly to the Howliday Inn for boarding as she isn't going to Alaska with me.  When am I going to Alaska?  0600 TUESDAY morning!!  Looking forward to reporting from the 49th State!

I got an email from Todd, the Alaska State Junior Vice Commander.  He impressed upon me that it was really cold up there in Wasilla and I needed to be sure to bring lots of warm clothes.  I appreciated his thoughtfulness.  Yesterday, State Commander Dave CALLED to really, really impress upon me that it was very cold up there.

I'm just thinking....how cold does it have to be when people who LIVE in Alaska get in touch with you tell you that it's really cold......
