Holy Cow! Post #100!

Interrupting the normal flow of the mundane but interesting things I send out to let you know that this is the 100th Post of the blog!

It's really been a pleasure capturing the daily flow of events since I started this journey in Orlando at the end of July.  It certainly keeps me busy, but in a good way as I'm always thinking about what's going on around me.  That keeps me grounded, aware, and present.  So, I'd like to thank all of you who read this because you are making me a better person.

Looking back over the posts has been fun.  If you have free time, I encourage you to go back and look at the earlier posts before we went live.  Lots of content there that you may have missed as it was lurking in the background before launch day.

Some quick stats:  In addition to our base of subscribers who receive the Blog via email, there have been about 9,000 views from other sources such as the web, Facebook, etc. We are being viewed in the United States, 17 countries around the world, and something called an "Unknown Region".  I'm not sure I really WANT to know where that is!

I'm going to open up comments for this post.  If you've had a favorite one, let me know.  I'm interested in hearing from you.

  1. Hi Fritz, I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog. You have a talent for sharing your experiences in a manner that's light-hearted yet deeply meaningful. I think my favorite posts so far are where you shared what your former colleague wrote about his visit with a veteran at the VA hospital, the one where you shared about your (veteran) driver at the National Convention who became a scuba instructor after he spoke with you, and pretty much any post about Mama <3. It's great to have this window to all of the places you're going, things you're doing, and ways you are affecting the lives of all of our veterans. Thanks for what you do! - Sharon Zinck
