It's Official: VFW Commander in Chief!

Yes, the VFW convention went off without a hitch in its modified format.  Even COVID restrictions didn't stop us from getting important business taken care of!  And, most important of all, from my perspective that is, I was elected as the Commander in Chief of the greatest combat veterans organization in the world!

There lots of pictures and articles floating around in the internet now about the convention, so I won't bore you with any of that.  However, if you didn't get an opportunity to watch my acceptance speech, you can find it on YouTube at https://youtu.be/onBd9gbPr_I   [Depending how this posts, you may have to copy and paste the link].  I think you will see what my philosophy is for the coming year!  Social Media is a force multiplier.

I want to thank everyone who has been following my journey over the last two years when I was first elected as the Junior Vice Commander in Chief.  This begins my final leg in the three year journey.  Buckle up because I am hitting the ground running and will be doing a lot of traveling to promote our great organization!  Your inbox is going to be filled up with posts from Around The World With Fritz!

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all your support!

Taking the oath of office

My wife Megan and Mama Cass after my election

Several of the service dogs and handlers present came up for a group photo.  Great to see more and more each year.

Couldn't resist doing some magic tricks for the kids present.  It was nice seeing more families attending.

This dog.  Mama Cass got a reserved place on the National stage, next to me of course.  She even had her own Reserved Name Placard.
